Tax Exempt Vehicles 12th September 2014

Currently the Severn Bridges allow free passage to those that have Tax Exempt vehicles if those vehicles are used for the transport of registered disabled and this is reflected on the Tax Disc. From 1st October 2014 the DVLA will no longer be issuing Tax Discs.

If you wish to continue claiming free passage you will be required to either show your tax disc, if it is still in date, or your V5C form proving that your vehicle is tax exempt because it states Disabled in the Taxation Class.

There will be no change for those that are in possession of a valid EU Personal Blue Badge.

Failure to produce the relevant documentation at the time of crossing will result in the appropriate Toll being levied.
